“Gabion Design Solutions Ltd are convinced that the versatility of gabions and gabion designed construction solutions will continue to provide an ever growing tool to tackle and overcome construction challenges. With over 40 years combined experience of building a European client base for gabion projects Martin and Frederique decided in 2013 to set up a company dedicated to offering construction solutions utilising the unique versatility of Gabion based products. GDS Ltd doesn’t simply supply a great product; GDS Ltd provides an expertly designed solution to a wide range of land reinforcement and architecturally challenging projects.

Assistance
Gabions, mostly known as gabions or stone baskets, composed of geometric shapes from welded or woven wire. The individual panels are mutually connected to each other with stitching, clips or spirals. These compartments are then filled with hard, frost-free stone or recycled material. Alternative materials are available according to your own preference.
Design & Planning
Gabions have a wide range of applications but are
primarily used as retaining walls or separation wall. Sound walls, erosion control, siding, flood protection are other applications. More and more we see them in the contemporary garden, and street furniture. Planters, benches, railings and garden fences are some examples
Production
The panels are created by flash welding horizontal and vertical wires perpendicular at every intersection. All panels are made to size in our factory. The panels are then connected with lacing wire, clips, spirals or a combination.
Our panels have a high strength and a long lifetime thanks to a Galfan 350g / m² (5% Aluminium + 95% zinc) coating and are very quick to install. The panels are delivered flat-packed. Customisation is no problem.
The excellent quality of the Pro-Gabions® range is only part of the package. Custom made project designs are the core of the package offered. These designs incorporate made to measure products that meet all EN/BS specifications and with a range coatings suitable to the individual projects (our standard coating is 350g/m2 Galfan but a range of other coatings including PVC and polyester coloured coatings are available) The wire diameter and mesh spacings can be adapted to the strength needed and the stone fill being used. The package is completed with competitive prices and the offer of an unbeatable delivery service. With offices and production facilities in the UK and Belgium, GDS Ltd are quickly developing a network of partners/distributors across Europe which facilitates both fast delivery or pick-up from locally accessible stock points as well as technical site visit support.
